Our Story

PAYA was founded by Mr. Soeharjono (yes, most Indonesians have only one name), who loves tinkering with things, in his family’s kitchen. 

That was in the late 1970’s.

After countless of experiments to fill a void in the Consumer Food/ Spices market, this is one of the commercially viable products that he thinks have some business potential.

The rest is history.

Since that day, this product as it known in Indonesia as, “Paya Pengempuk Daging” or meat tenderizer, is sold throughout Indonesia at major supermarkets (like Hero Group Supermarkets, Gelael, Jumbo Menado etc.), traditional markets and wholesalers/distributors throughout the island of Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Irian Jaya, and Bali.
